Plain words about your data.

Effective September 11, 2026

What we collect

Your email (and phone number, if you give one) when you join the list, buy the audiobook, or subscribe. Your tree-tool sessions — the answers you give and the tree they draw. Listening progress in the audiobook player, so you can pick up where you left off. Payments run through Stripe; your card number never touches our servers.

What we do with it

Deliver what you asked for: the audiobook, the tree, the letters. We do not sell your data or show ads. Every recurring email carries a working one-click unsubscribe.

Who touches the data

Railway (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Amazon SES and Resend (email), and Anthropic (the AI that helps read your tree answers — not used to train their models). That's the list.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or full deletion any time: contact@lifeisnotalist.com. Done within 30 days, for everyone, not only where a law requires it. Data lives in the United States; this site is not directed at children under 13.
